Dear Ms. Tanna Kasperowicz:

You have asked for copies of legal advice received from Town Counsel.  Such legal advice is covered by the attorney client privilege.  We need not nor do we desire to release such documents.

Paul,
Three of your board members blabbed about the memo at a public meeting…said it was going to effect on-going negotiations. Got everybody really interested. I think it’s mine. I’m going to go after it, in any case.

Here is my new letter to you:

Cohasset Board of Selectmen

Request under MGAL c. 66s. 10

Dear Paul, Diane, Fred, Martha and Lee:

Since my letter of Oct. 25 I have become aware that there is a memo from Town Counsel which may shed some light on Acting Town Manager Mike Milansoki’s illegal Town Manager contract.

At your Oct. 25th meeting, three Selectmen made reference to the memo from Town Counsel. Selectmen Martha Gjesteby questioned where the board had a “good “ contract with Milanoski. Vice Chair Diane Kennedy said the information received from counsel   “does impact on-going negotiations.” Selectman Fred Koed said: “I do have some questions based on that memo, but that needs to be addressed by the full board.”

I am requesting a copy of Town Counsel’s memo on this subject under Mass General Laws. The fact that it was discussed at a public meeting should give my request some weight.

Please send me the memo pronto and deduct what I owe you from my interest-bearing Town of Cohasset account. Also, please advise as to how much interest I have accrued since establishing my account? Should I expect to receive quarterly reports?

Tanna
