Cat Dam Management goes to ConCom

At its January 18th meeting Cohasset Selectmen voted 4-1 (with Chairman Karen Quigley voting against the process) to adopt a revised citizen’s plan of management for Cat Dam.

Selectmen adopted the group’s revised plan (the January plan) without comment and without noting changes from the group’s December plan or allowing the public or interested parties to comment. Abutter Stephen Brown, not a member of the E-20, addressed Selectmen briefly. He asked that the ConCom be notified that the public had not been permitted to see or comment on this second plan.

Next month, the Conservation Commission is expected to hold a hearing on E-20’s management plan.

Tinytown Unleashed will ask for a copy of this second report tomorrow and will share its contents with readers as soon as possible.
